Itinerary:
- DAY 1: MARRAKECH TO DADES GORGES
3 DAY Sahara Desert starts in the morning, your driver/guide, will pick you up from anywhere you are in Marrakech and driver towards Dades Gorges through high atlas mountains” Tizi- N-Tichka ” (2260m) higher, a long the way, we will have stops to visit and take pictures for a wonderful landscapes with different colors and the Berber villages… in the mid day, we will arrive to the Old Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, you will have a free time to visit the Kasbah Aït Benhaddou which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and several films have been shot there as Gladiator and the Mummy.
After your visit and lunch, we will continue driving to Dades Valley, and we will have a stop in Ouarzazate to visit “Taourirt Kasbah”. Afterwards, we go further south east to the green Dades valley and the city of roses via the fascinating Skoura palmery. We will arrive in Dades Valley in the evening, overnight in a hotel/Riad with dinner and breakfast.
- DAY 2: DADES GORGES TO MERZOUGA
Day two takes us deeper into the desert as we depart for Merzouga. Along the way, we’ll traverse the Todra Gorges, famous for their towering rock formations. This is an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts and photographers.
As the day progresses, we’ll venture into the desert, where you’ll be greeted by the mesmerizing sea of dunes in Merzouga. You’ll have the opportunity to ride camels into the heart of the Sahara Desert, savor a traditional Moroccan dinner under the starlit sky, and spend the night in a cozy desert camp.
- DAY 3: MERZOUGA TO MARRAKECH
Day three begins with a spectacular sunrise in the Sahara Desert. Witnessing the sun’s first rays over the dunes is a truly magical experience that you won’t want to miss. After breakfast, we’ll depart from Merzouga and head back to Marrakech..
We’ll make stops along the way, allowing you to enjoy the diverse landscapes and culture of Morocco. By evening, we’ll return to Marrakech, concluding our incredible 3-day journey.
